At it’s heart, VitusVet is a medical records sharing app developed by an ER veterinarian, Dr. Mark Olcott, after one of his patients died from an adverse drug reaction -- the pet couldn’t handle a particular anesthetic but his owners forgot this key fact and his full medical record wasn’t available because his regular veterinarian was closed for the weekend.

Pet owners with the VitusVet app would be able to present full medical records including notes about allergies in any situation, immediately.
